Postcard from the Toulouse countryside

During her solo trip in the summer 2015, Sara visited an Erasmus friend in France. They visited several spots in Normandy and Toulouse, but Sara’s favourite memory is the time they left the city to stay with two friends living in the countryside, just outside Toulouse.

In the summer months , these guys live in the countryside – in a huge tent – and grow their own vegetables and fruit, and Sara was very happy to help them cultivate their little piece of land.

The weather was nice and hot and over the course of her stay with them, Sara could enjoy some genuine fruit and vegetables. Her favourite memory was swimming, for the first time ever, in the local river and its natural pool. Such an unforgettable day!
